What do you really want?
Groaning athletes have often asked me in the middle of a workout, “Isn’t it supposed to get easier?”
Actually, no… If you’re doing it right, it doesn’t get easier.
Ask yourself, what do you really want? Dig a couple of layers by asking yourself this question a couple of times.
Getting to what you really want requires growth and breaking out of your current norm. Growth requires discomfort. It’s within this zone of discomfort where you make real progress. And--eventually you’ll reach a new level of discomfort. So you’ll have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. When you get clear on what you really, truly want, I believe you will fall in love with the process of getting there, discomfort and all.
You can’t expect results by doing the same thing. But sometimes you fall into a rut. Or you get tired of your routine. I get it. That’s why I’ll be releasing a free 3-day workout challenge that’s meant to reset your body and mind--keep on the lookout!
See you out there,
Andrew
