Uplevel your fitness in 2023 with science

Where did the year go? Among the highlights, the return to somewhat normalcy corresponded with several of my athletes showing up at competitions. More on that later – but I realized that all of my athletes are on the journey of conquering something, even if they are not formally competing. It could be finding your own as a new parent, bouncing back from an injury, building confidence in stability to simply move around the world.

I recently heard Tim Ferriss, successful entrepreneur and author of The 4-Hour Body, talk about his fitness routine. It’s so simple: kettlebell swings, jump rope, sled pushes, weighted hikes with his dog. This will keep him strong for decades and honestly–this is enough for most people to maintain strength and general physical wellbeing.

I then also listened to Andrew Huberman, PhD break down the science for optimal fitness and physical health. Now, I am a coach, not a scientist. However, it was wildly affirming to learn that the science backs up my training philosophy (for myself and my athletes). Everyone knows that every person and every body is different. This is the beauty of working with a coach: you get completely individualized programming, support, and guidance, all tailored for you.

But I also recognize that individualized coaching is not accessible for everyone. Dr. Huberman has provided a “foundational protocol” for optimal fitness. While I love the democratization of this info, it takes some deciphering for the average person. I also know that most people need motivation and accountability to actually follow through on their fitness goals.

So I’ve been inspired to create programming based on Dr. Huberman’s fitness concepts. If you’re looking for an easy-to-follow, accessible program that is science-based but still somewhat fun (cuz that’s what I do best!), this is for you!

  • Easy-to-follow programming via free app (no pdfs here!)

  • Track your progress

  • Fun videos from me to keep things interesting –
breaking down movements, showing how I approach a workout, etc.

  • Monthly office hours

Coming in early 2023. Sign up now to know when it launches!

For now, going back into hibernation mode to rest up for the new year. Let’s get after it in 2023 and make it our strongest year yet!

All the best,

Andrew
